The Megelli company was established in the UK on the basis of a team from SLD UK Ltd, whose vision and skills allowed us to realize the concept of a new and exciting brand of motorcycles.
The company was founded in 2004. The headquarters is located in North Hickham, Lincoln, United Kingdom. The company “Motorcycles Megelli” was founded by the Managing Director of SLD UK Ltd, Barry Holom, who previously specialized in off-road all-terrain vehicles, mini-motorcycles and off-road motorcycles.
Company Motorcycles Megelli logo which emphasizes the modernity and brightness of style – the youngest British motorcycle manufacturer, was founded in 2004, and already in November 2007 made its debut in Milan at the EICMA exhibition.
The experience and connections of Barry Hall with motorcycle development specialists allowed the company to move from the initial vision to the production of motorcycles for three years. Original design sketches were produced in July 2005 and the tests began in September 2007.
Motorcycles Megelli are designed and built in the UK using purchased components with the final assembly in China. Approximately 75% of the components are produced by Taiwanese companies. Motorcycles with the Megelli logo are currently sold in ten European countries.
