Lifan Corporation (Lifan) is the largest private company in China, which produces cars and buses, as well as motorcycles and scooters.
In 1992, a group of 9 people, led by renowned businessman Yin Mingshan, created a research company. The original specialization is the repair, and later the production of motorcycles. Later, in the first half of the 90s, the company started creating buses and trucks at the same companies. At home, the company is known as a manufacturer of two-wheeled vehicles, being the largest manufacturer of motorcycles in China and one of the largest in the world.
In September 2001, the production of Lifan company was among the export products in Japan. Today the company has a wide range of models: mopeds, motor scooters, motorcycles, choppers, enduros.
By 2009, there were already fourteen factories engaged in the production of the brand “Lifan”. At the same time, half of them are engaged in the production of motorcycles, the rest produce cars, buses, engines for motorcycles, as well as mechanisms for power units, generators and cars.
