The company has been carrying the name of its founder, Joseph Aramand Bombardier, for more than half a century. He was interested in technology since childhood, and in 1926 he became the owner of a small garage and finally was able to fulfill the childhood dream – to start designing a small snowmobile. He dreamed about this since his childhood, looking at the snow-covered areas of the Canadian province.
In 1937, he managed to build the first snowmobile B-7, after the construction of which he decided to become not only an inventor, but also an entrepreneur – founded the firm L’Auto-Neige Bombardier. And soon, under a logo BRP, he began to produce both snowmobiles and bikes.
Today, Bombardier Recreational Products manufactures snowmobiles and ATV, and has also taken a worthy place in aviation and water shipbuilding. The Bombardier trademark is famous for its Ski-Doo snowmobiles and Sea-Doo boats and water bikes.
In 1998, the company began to produce ATVs.
June 15, 2004 – Bombardier Recreational Products introduced its new name and BRP logo. Instead of a long name, the main one was a short abbreviation, and only the quality and variety of the technique remained the same.
